Easy things

Many things in life--career, finances, illness--don't come easy.

But some things do--and they're absolutely free to experience!

Like a child's silly giggle--so disarming.

Like nature's glorious sunsets and gentle breezes--so invigorating.

Like a stranger's smile--so unexpected.

Like seeing an old friend after many years--so welcome.

Like embracing the loves in your life--so enthralling.

Kind of makes the other things a little more bearable, doesn't it?

  10. Ron, your writings are straight from the heart. I really like the "Feasts" one. I can relate because my hubby makes big feasts for family and friends. Making each day a feast of joy is a good analogy.

  21. I absolutely adore to hear my children giggling....watch the sunrises and take pleasure in my family and our enjoyment! I love to be the stranger that smiles and leaves a sense of sharing with others...especially in countries not of my own!

    Thanks, this was uplifting!
